About Us
The DiFilippo family has been serving the western Main Line community since 1971. After migrating from a small town in Italy, Domenic and Rose DiFilippo settled down in Wayne and raised three children. Vince’s older brother began working in the HVAC industry and eventually established his own company. Vince started to help his brother with service and installations on the weekends and developed a passion for the trade. After years of training under his brother and becoming a full-time employee, Vince bought the company in 1989 when he was 27 years old. That same year he married his wife and future business partner, Laura. The two bought a home in Radnor Township and Laura joined the business in 1992.
Vince and Laura endured the trials and tribulations of being new business owners while simultaneously raising a young family. Vince balanced running DiFilippo’s while being an active member of the Radnor Fire Company and Laura worked part-time while taking care of two toddlers. The pair developed a roster of highly trained technicians, knowledgeable office staff, and a name for themselves within the HVAC industry. Together, they built DiFilippo’s Service Company into the reputable and distinguished company it is today. The company collected various accolades over the years including Main Line Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year, 6 Time “Best of Life” Reader’s Choice (Main Line Life), ACCA National Residential Contractor of the Year, and NCI Contractor of the Year.
Although the business has grown significantly since Vince took over in 1989, the DiFilippo family takes pride in remaining directly involved in all day-to-day operations and maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients. Vince and Laura are the heart of DiFilippo’s Service Company and continue to better the HVAC experience for their clients, employees, and industry peers.

Vince DiFilippo is the CEO and co-owner of DiFilippo’s Service company in Paoli, PA. He is a NATE certified Technician, BPI certified building analyst, and is also NCI certified in Carbon Monoxide and Air Balancing and Diagnostics. Vince also has written several articles for trade publications and has served as a contractor consultant for the ACHR NEWS magazine. He is currently on the editorial advisory board for Contracting Business Magazine and is a founding member of the Service Roundtable Retail Contractor Coalition. Vince served on ACCA’s Disaster relief, Government relations, and PAC committees. He speaks and teaches seminars at national HVAC events and continues to be a prominent figure in the industry.
Laura DiFilippo is President and Co-Owner of DiFilippo’s Service Company, a residential heating and air conditioning contracting business in Paoli, PA. For over 30 years Laura has been instrumental in running all the operations of the company. A community staple for over 50 years, DiFilippo’s Service and its 11 employees pride themselves on a high level of professionalism and quality and Laura’s leadership encourages this. Laura believes that there’s more to just being an HVAC contractor; she gives back to the industry with her leadership and service. Laura has served on the Board of Directors of PA ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America) for over 20 years, serving as their first female President for 5 years. She served as ACCA National Board of Director for 13 years and was elected their chairman in 2012. As the first female Board Director of NATE (North America Technician Excellence) she helped guide industry certification programs and was voted their chairman in 2019.
Her passion for this industry is evident in everything she continues to do and she works to help contractors, just like her, to make this industry better and more professional.
